Lighthouse x OKcontract

OKcontract platform has successfully integrated to Lighthouse, allowing users’ data and files to be permanently stored on the IPFS and Filecoin network. This will allow OKcontract platform users to have ownership of their data as every data uploaded is controlled by the user and not a single entity.

Revolutionizing Web3 Adoption: OKcontract to Bring the Next Billion Users on Board!

OKcontract builds a missing piece of infrastructure between web3 and web2, offering an easy way to embed web3 transactions into any website. They have built a new format “web3 widget” — the first standardized way to interact with Smart Contracts. Web3 widgets offer users the possibility to interact with Smart Contracts directly from the widget’s interface. Web3 projects can create widgets for any transaction: NFT mint, token swap, staking, buy the floor of an NFT collection, etc. In addition to that, OKcontract widgets unlock new distribution opportunities and solve user acquisition, activation, and engagement across multiple industries: NFTs, metaverses, gaming, and DeFi.

Perpetual Storage: powered by Lighthouse

Lighthouse is a perpetual storage protocol built on Filecoin that allows users to store their data long term with just one-time fee. It also provides encryption and access control functionality to store private data and create token-gated access to resources. It is the feature-rich way to use IPFS and Filecoin and allows for even fast streaming of 4k videos through its IPFS Gateways.

What this integration of OKcontract to Lighthouse enables

Given the demand from the OKcontract team to store files permanently on web3 storage systems like IPFS and Filecoin along with providing the unique ability for every user to own their NFT Data minted through their widgets, Lighthouse Storage is chosen for the integration. The integration of the Lighthouse into the OKcontract widget platform will allow its users to upload and pin image files to IPFS while creating NFT minting widgets. Moreover, this integration is enabling end-users to upload images to IPFS directly from the OKcontract widgets that can be embedded in any regular website. We are connecting any website to IPFS using Lighthouse!

2: The user uploads Image to Lighthouse

3. You can design your own widget (DYOW) via OKcontract

User can design and create a custom widget of their choice without even writing a single line of code and embed into any website on the internet!

Summary

In summary, the integration of OKcontract widgets to Lighthouse enables users to store data perpetually on web3 in a trustless and user-owned way.
